2. I'm still looking for participants for the Toddler Busy Bag Exchange. If you would like to participate, please read the info HERE. Contact me with any questions or comments. I have about 7 people signed up now. If I can get at least 14, we'll go ahead and do it. As soon as all the spots are filled, we can get started, so I'd love any help in spreading the word. If you know any friends with toddlers, see if they want in on the action. If I don't have at least seven more participants by Jan 15th, 2012 I'll postpone this idea until closer to this summer.
So, this is when all the "big" blogs (or that one's that have their stuff together...) put out a big welcome to the new year, invite you to come join in all the new and exciting things that will be happening and promise a great year of crafts {or insert whatever the blog focuses on}.
I'll be honest. Our New Year celebration included a rousing game of Rack-O with My Mr Right, half a bottle of sparkling cider, some of the most seriously deadly heartburn I've ever had, two and a half batches of Muddy Buddies (uhm, maybe that's why I had the heartburn?!) and, of course, a midnight kiss. Oh, and don't forget the incessant attack on my insides in the "Great War for More Space". I'm not completely sure, but I think this kiddo is kicking my trash on the war front. I know, you're totally jealous, right?! No?
Basically, I've been focusing on getting Christmas done, and then my brother's wedding, and now his reception next week. And then I just want this kid OUT! It'll be a long month and a half... and I haven't even really thought about what I'm going to post about this year... so, welcome New Year. Let's make it a good one. I hope you'll stick around I'll work on coming up with some good ideas to make you want to come back.
In the meantime, feel free to check out some Ready for Romance and ABC's of Love ideas from last year to get you in the mood for Valentine's Day (I know, it's only Jan 1, but within a one-week time span, I've got our 4th anniversary, Valentine's Day and the little bean's due date. I can use all the time and help I can get).
