Making a house a home is a lot of work! Like crazy a lot. But even though we are still split between two houses, winding our way through mountains of boxes and unsure of where things are located presently, there is no where I’d rather be than with my family.

{Printable} Spice Up Life Subway Art
Hey, all. Sorry it’s been a few days and I’m sure it seems like Weekend Wander is the only thing I post anymore, right?! We’ve been SUPER busy trying to move out and move in. We have visitors coming this weekend and they will currently be sleeping on boxes! Eek. However, I snatched a few minutes (ok, closer to an hour) to create this. Can you guess which cupboard I unpacked this morning? Hehe. Enjoy.
If you have problems with the download, please let me know. I have switched to hosting from Dropbox because 4shared was giving some of you problems. If you have problems with downloading from Dropbox, let me know and I’ll try something else until we find something that will work. Thanks!
Weekend Wander #80
Hey all! Happy weekend to ya! Got big plans? Us? Well, you see we got these little metal thingamajigs that let us into our very own HOUSE! Yep, it’s official, we are homeowners. Well, I guess mortgage-payers is more accurate, but nonetheless, we will be moving this weekend. I really don’t want to move. I hate moving. It’s so much work. But since my magic wand seems to be missing and my fairy godmother is nowhere in sight, I guess I will be packing and unpacking for the next few days. Wish us luck! =)
Ok, before we jump into this week’s party, check out some of last weeks goodies:

Weekend Wander #79
Welcome friends! I’m running a little short on time today. We close on our house next week and I’m trying to get things organized so we can move… notice the key word: trying. It’s going a lot more slowly with two young (and now sick) children competing for my attention. Anyhow, come, link and let’s party. I will try to sit down and do features tomorrow some time… until then, link ’em up!
Cilantro Lime Rice
Ingredients:
1 cup uncooked rice (white or brown, your preference)
1 bunch of cilantro
1/2 lime (I actually used 2 small key limes) or 2 tsp of lime juice
2 cups of water
Directions:
Lightly spray your rice cooker with olive or cooking oil. Pour in your uncooked rice and water. Cut your 1/2 lime into 2-3 wedges. Squeeze them into the rice cooker. Be careful to not let any of the seeds get in there… unless you want to chance eating them. Cut up cilantro to taste. I usually use about 1/4 of a bunch for every 1 cup of rice. We like cilantro though. Push down the little button and let your rice cook.
Enjoy!
