I grew up in Nevada, but was born in Utah. I graduated high school in 2005. In 2006, I moved to Idaho. And I met this guy... I was taking online college courses, but the school also had on-campus credit requirements. I got to experience the joys and sorrows of long-distance dating... In February 2008, I married that guy and he is the love of my life and best friend, My Mr Right. I have loved every minute of married life. Ok, well maybe not every minute, but most of them.
We had our first baby in July 2009, a son. He is my Little Monkey, my buddy and keeps me laughing. I love being a momma. Our second son was born in February 2012. From day one he has had a huge appetite and threatens to eat us out of house and home. He is my Gator, taste-testing anything he can get his mouth on. It's a full time job keeping things away from this hungry boy.
After we married, Mr. Napping and I lived in Idaho for 2 years, but are now back in Nevada. In a whirlwind of events and after almost two years of everything from unemployed to semi-permanent employment, my husband was offered a new job. In less than a month we packed up and headed South. He travels a lot with his job and I that's when I got a blog. I figured I'd write down my adventures and if anyone wanted to read it, great. Two and a half years later, and here we are. While He Was Napping is my little journal of my journey to "Domestic Goddess".
We bought a new home in May 2012 and have been slowly making it our own. I am the beauty of the projects and my husband is often the brains. He takes my dreams and schemes and makes them happen, then leaves me to make them into something pretty. Usually, my crafting, organizing, cleaning and creating take place while my little guys sleep. It all happens while he was napping.
