With my oldest son I did the same thing – packed tons and didn’t use most of it. I had wished for a nursing pillow at the hospital. This time around with twins I think it will be ESSENTIAL especially since I am wanting to do tandem nursing. Oh, and my hubby has already declared he needs me to pack change for the vending machines 😉

My must haves were my own pillow,I needed to be comfy at least while laboring!! Good chapstick, aromatherapy lotion always felt good. My S-I-L’s would massage my feet during labor. Felt sooo good!!! I’m not gonna lie, I took a few pair of mesh underwear home too!!! I did not breastfeed so I wore the tightest sports bra I had, I am talking so tight I might of had back boobies!! LOL 🙂
