Cheri, I love your tips! I’m gonna have to check out those pens. The ones I’ve been using bleed through the pages a little and I’m less than thrilled. The color coding sounds right up my alley. =) I love being able to carry books in my phone, so handy! Maybe I should learn to crochet while I wait this year… I’ve always wanted to learn!

I have a DayTimer Family Plus planner – spots for 5 peoples schedules, to do lists, errands, school activities, personal activities and meal planning all in one spot! My family knows if it is not in the planner it doesn’t happen. I use Frixion pens to color code for everyone and they can be erased if needed. Word to the wise – do not leave this in a hot car as heat will make the ink disappear! I have the Kindle app on my phone so I don’t have to remember to bring a book with me! Usually have a crochet project stashed in the car too for those unexpected waits.
