A Mother’s Prayer

I came across these poems, one in a book I was reading the other in an email my grandma sent me, and knew I needed to make them into printables.  The first is humorous and captures the struggles that accompany motherhood.  I love Little Monkey more than life itself, but there are days I just want to ship him to grandma’s so I can go to lunch with a friend and have an adult conversation.  Or watch something besides Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Finding Nemo.

The second captures the tenderness of motherhood.  Those feelings that only a mother can understand.

  3. Those hectic days need prayer, don't they? I'll share this link with my daughter--a young mother of 4.

    Love the Bambi quote, too.

"If you can't say something nice... don't say nothing at all." -Thumper, Bambi, 1942

Please keep your comments kind. I don't expect everyone to always agree with me or the way I do things, but if you can't be kind, please keep your comments to yourself and move on. And please be kind and respectful to one another.

Thanks for taking time to comment, it totally makes my day!
