The main reason I bring your attention to this is for my weekly link party I host, Weekend Wander. I love hosting the party and getting to see your projects. Most of which, honestly, I wouldn’t see any other way. I don’t often have enough time in my day to sit and surf through blogs and the party is the perfect way to get pointed to all your cool ideas and projects. You’ve probably heard that it is no longer free to host these parties. I asked at Weekend Wander this week if you guys preferred the thumbnail links, or if text links were good enough. Thumbnails were, by far, the majority favorite. I also like the thumbnails. Subscriptions for the service I am looking at are $20/year. At this point, I can’t afford the $20 upfront. Sad, I know; alas, it’s true.
If you link to the party every week, please consider purchasing some advertising space. I’m having a discount on it right now to try and help you all out as well. All money will go toward the subscription for the link party, until it is covered. I will also use any proceeds from my Etsy shop to help make up the difference. So, head over and check that out as well, if you’d like to help. If I don’t have enough to purchase the subscription by this weekend we will be stuck with text links until I do.
