I mentioned in this post that I live for summer.  And I do… I so do.  So, how could I not share some Summer Subway Art?  This this simple version captures some of the best things about summer.  Click the link to download a free copy without a watermark.  Black text with a white background means you can print it on whatever you want.

I came across these poems, one in a book I was reading the other in an email my grandma sent me, and knew I needed to make them into printables.  The first is humorous and captures the struggles that accompany motherhood.  I love Little Monkey more than life itself, but there are days I just want to ship him to grandma’s so I can go to lunch with a friend and have an adult conversation.  Or watch something besides Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Finding Nemo. 

The second captures the tenderness of motherhood.  Those feelings that only a mother can understand.
