October Spooktacular: Witching Hour
Disclaimer: Minor intimate details… Not interested, please skip this post.
This is one night your sweetie won’t mind if you’re a little witchy…
Here’s an idea that will add some heat to the chilly Autumn air.
My Mr Right likes lingerie as much as any other man… on the floor. Right? So, I can’t help but feel a little guilty spending money on it. But lingerie does what it’s supposed to and makes me feel attractive. Sometimes a feat in and of itself. So, to me, if I can spend $20, it’s worth it.
The beauty of Halloween, you only have to be as skimpy as you’re comfortable with. This would still keep you fairly covered but it’s still sultry and seductive. Rawr! And it’s only $15 at Amazon. Score. Right?

Of course there are more elaborate costumes to choose from… but then the price tag usually goes up too.

And there are the naughy costumes… If you’re wearing this when your Honey comes home (he may give you a weird look at first), he may just pull you into the bedroom, you naughty girl. Have fun!
October Spooktacular: More Jack-O-Lanterns
I know it’s WORDLESS Wednesday, but I just have to point out how thick the walls of the Haunted House Jack-O-Lantern are! I thought I was going to die! Or, at the least, my hand was going to fall off. And, even though my little monkey was only 3 months old last Halloween, doesn’t he have a cute scarecrow pumpkin!
October Spooktacular: Witchy Hats
I made these the first year we were married and it’s one of my “go-to” Halloween recipes because it’s soo quick and easy! And incredibly cute! And cheap! See, it IS good!
Fudge Striped Shortbread Cookies
Hershey’s Kisses, unwrapped
Any Halloween color icing
Open the cookies, unwrap the Kisses and put your icing in an icing bag. Note: A sandwich bag with the tip cut off works just as well. Just be careful not to cut the tip too much if you want to be able to decorate with it as well. Squeeze a glob of icing to the bottom of the Kiss and place it in the center of the shortbread cookie. It doesn’t matter if the cookie is stripe side up or not, just depends on the look you’re going for. Add an icing bow or a ring around the Kiss, if you’d like. Repeat until you have a nice little collection of Witchy Hats. Cute, huh? And I told you it was super easy!
We were lucky enough to have Jessica at Craftily Ever After link up her version of Witchy Hat Cookies to Weekend Wander this weekend. Check them out too.
