Well, I’m out in the boonies with a lot of in-laws (better than outlaws, right?), so you will have to party without me this weekend and I’ll check it all out when I get back to civilization and an internet connection.  This is why I love summer: family, campfires, great food, memories all with the modern convenience of flush potties.  This is my kinda camping.  See you all soon!

If this isn’t green, I don’t know what is.  We took a gorgeous drive into the Northern Idaho mountains and I swear this little dirt road just kept going further and further back into the middle of the woods.  Little Monkey told us, “Hey, Mom!  Dad!  We’re in the forest!”  Smart boy.  We sure were in the forest.  The green is definitely more beautiful than our wretched brown…

I kept waiting for something silly to happen today… and it never did. At least not that I could get a photo of. My potty-training 3-year-old spent a good portion of the afternoon in the buff, but that’s probably not something he’d appreciate me sharing photos of… so, instead, you get a “Friday Flashback” to a month ago. Making cupcakes with Daddy. I love that cheesy grin. Both of them.

Whoa.  Ninety Weekend Wander parties?!  How cool is that?  Thanks to all of you who join me each weekend.  And big apologies for skipping out the last two weeks.  To be completely honest, I totally spaced it the first week and the week after that I was up to my eyebrows with third birthday prep for Little Monkey, potty training and Etsy orders.  But, never fear, we’re back and ready to roll.  At least through the months of August and September.  Hopefully, I’ll have my act together by then……… maybe.
