Weekend Wander #80

Hey all!  Happy weekend to ya!  Got big plans?  Us?  Well, you see we got these little metal thingamajigs that let us into our very own HOUSE!  Yep, it’s official, we are homeowners.  Well, I guess mortgage-payers is more accurate, but nonetheless, we will be moving this weekend.  I really don’t want to move.  I hate moving.  It’s so much work.  But since my magic wand seems to be missing and my fairy godmother is nowhere in sight, I guess I will be packing and unpacking for the next few days.  Wish us luck!  =)

Ok, before we jump into this week’s party, check out some of last weeks goodies:
(Please pin any of these from their source sites!  Thanks!  Just click on the links.)

I WANT some of these…
Artsy VaVa’s Plant Markers
These might be making an entrance in the boys’ room.
Fabric Baskets @ Threading My Way
Ok, we just got the call that it’s on record.  We officially pay the mortgage on our house.  So, I guess that concludes the features for now.  Link up and I can’t wait to see what you’ve been doing!  Have a fabulous weekend.

Weekend Wander #79

Welcome friends!  I’m running a little short on time today.  We close on our house next week and I’m trying to get things organized so we can move… notice the key word: trying.  It’s going a lot more slowly with two young (and now sick) children competing for my attention.  Anyhow, come, link and let’s party.  I will try to sit down and do features tomorrow some time… until then, link ’em up!

Like what you see?  Don’t miss a thing:

Cilantro Lime Rice

CILANTRO LIME RICE
Cilantro Lime Rice in the Rice Cooker

Ingredients:
1 cup uncooked rice (white or brown, your preference)
1 bunch of cilantro
1/2 lime (I actually used 2 small key limes) or 2 tsp of lime juice
2 cups of water

Directions:
Lightly spray your rice cooker with olive or cooking oil.  Pour in your uncooked rice and water.  Cut your 1/2 lime into 2-3 wedges.  Squeeze them into the rice cooker.  Be careful to not let any of the seeds get in there… unless you want to chance eating them.  Cut up cilantro to taste.  I usually use about 1/4 of a bunch for every 1 cup of rice.  We like cilantro though.  Push down the little button and let your rice cook.

Enjoy!

Weekend Wander #78

Welcome to the party, my friends!  From last week:

Check out these so-yummy Raspberry Cupcakes from Organized Living Solutions
I have plans to put up a similar calendar once we get into our new house (Two weeks, people!  Not that I’m counting…).  This Paint Chip Calendar at Sew Fantastic is awesome.

So, what have you been up to this week?  I’ve been super busy, but I honestly can’t think of one thing I’ve done!  Well, laundry.  Baby Gator is getting into a schedule and that includes a morning blowout.  Every.  Single.  Day.   Awesome, right?  I know you’re jealous.  Oh… and I know I’ve been spending WAY too much time on Tophatter (and money) in between trying to re-organize my Pinterest boards (seriously, Pinterest, could that be any more difficult?!).  I have been working on some new printables too, so start getting excited for those.  =)

And let’s get this party started.  Go!  And have a wonderful weekend.

I'm Krista. Ringleader here on While He Was Napping, wife to my handsome Mr. Right & momma to my THREE energetic boys, Big J (9), Little J (6) & Little N (4). We FINALLY added a beautiful little girl to our family last December.

I’m knee-deep in Tonka trucks & Thomas trains. I survive our crazy days with Vanilla Coke, Sonic slushies, sweet snuggles and little giggles. When I tuck them in tight & kiss them good night, I get a little time to create & just be me.
