Hoo Are You?

This week’s Hoo Are You? Questions…

1. How many times a year do you get your hair cut?
Uhm, every three to four months… I usually do it myself.  I have other things to spend $120 on.
2. Where is the worst place to be stuck waiting?
The doctors.  I hate waiting at the doctors.
3. What are your favorite pizza toppings?
I love my pizza with a ranch Alfredo sauce base, mozzarella cheese, bacon, tomatoes, red peppers, mushrooms, and grilled chicken.  YUMM.  We make delicious pizza… Watch for that in an upcoming Tasty Tuesday!
4. What’s your favorite thing about where you live?
Free babysitting…
5. What’s your favorite fruit? Veggie?
Hmmm, I love fruit.  Strawberries are probably my fave.  And yellow squash is my favorite veggie.  All this food talk is making me hungry!

Weekend Wander #2

Welcome to another edition of Weekend Wander.  Come link up your good stuff and check out what’s happening around the blogosphere.  Come flaunt what you’ve been up to.  Recipes, crafts, photographs, DIY projects, renovations, remodels, kid’s crafts, organization tips… anything FAMILY FRIENDLY is welcome.

Here are a few of my faves from last week!  It was so hard to pick, there was soo many neat links!

Check out this cool cheese cloth ghost by Beth over at Free Stylin’.  I remember making some of these when I was younger!  How cute!  If I had the room to store them, I would so be making these!
I am smitten with this planter by Lindy at Cottage Hill!  That’s right, there is a real plant inside those books!!  Amazing!
Jenn over at Clean and Scentsible made these cute ghost footprints!  What a great keepsake!
Thanks everyone for linking up!  It really was so hard to choose!
If you’ve been featured, feel free to grab a button in the sidebar!
Let’s get to the party!
The Rules:
1. All links MUST be family friendly.  Or I will delete it.

That’s it.  Don’t wanna follow?  Don’t (But I would love it if you would… Cool stuff happens here, don’t miss out!  Check out my calendar for an idea of what’s gonna be happening).  Don’t wanna link back?  That’s alright.  I understand that’s just one more thing in your already busy life.  I would appreciate any help in spreading the word about Weekend Wander, but no pressure.  If you like what you see and plan on being a regular, I’d love for you to add my name to your link party list (who doesn’t have one of those, right!?!) or my button to your blog.  Really don’t want to?  That’s ok.  I won’t tell you off or write you mean anonymous comments, promise!  I just enjoy seeing everyone’s ideas.  However, by linking, you are giving me permission to use your photos in a feature of your project.  Of course, this feature will include a link back to the original post.  Thanks!

October Spooktacular: Halloween Printables

I went a little crazy in Photoshop during nap time on Wednesday…  My subway art seemed to go over well, so here’s some more printables for you.  These ones are 8.5×11″ and 11×8.5″.  I did them white so you can print them to colored paper more easily, making them totally customizable to your color preference!  The last one is in case you wish for a black background.  If you do something with these, I’d love to see it.  I’ll even give your project a little shout out!  Email me pics at whilehewasnapping@gmail.  Also, email me if you’re interested in a Follower Feature or an Etsy Exclusive.  Click links for more info.  Enjoy!  Happy Crafting!

October Spooktacular: Witching Hour

Disclaimer:  Minor intimate details… Not interested, please skip this post.

This is one night your sweetie won’t mind if you’re a little witchy…

Here’s an idea that will add some heat to the chilly Autumn air.

My Mr Right likes lingerie as much as any other man… on the floor.  Right?  So, I can’t help but feel a little guilty spending money on it.  But lingerie does what it’s supposed to and makes me feel attractive.  Sometimes a feat in and of itself.  So, to me, if I can spend $20, it’s worth it.

The beauty of Halloween, you only have to be as skimpy as you’re comfortable with.  This would still keep you fairly covered but it’s still sultry and seductive.  Rawr!  And it’s only $15 at Amazon.  Score.  Right?

Of course there are more elaborate costumes to choose from… but then the price tag usually goes up too.

And there are the naughy costumes… If you’re wearing this when your Honey comes home (he may give you a weird look at first), he may just pull you into the bedroom, you naughty girl.  Have fun!

I'm Krista. Ringleader here on While He Was Napping, wife to my handsome Mr. Right & momma to my THREE energetic boys, Big J (9), Little J (6) & Little N (4). We FINALLY added a beautiful little girl to our family last December.

I’m knee-deep in Tonka trucks & Thomas trains. I survive our crazy days with Vanilla Coke, Sonic slushies, sweet snuggles and little giggles. When I tuck them in tight & kiss them good night, I get a little time to create & just be me.
